In a highly anticipated Supercopa de España clash at Jeddah’s King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Barcelona stunned their rivals Real Madrid with a commanding 5-2 victory, securing their 15th Supercopa title.

The match started with a bang as French superstar Kylian Mbappé fired Real Madrid into an early lead just five minutes in, hinting at a potential Madrid dominance. However, Barcelona responded quickly, with young sensation Lamine Yamal leveling the score in the 22nd minute after a moment of individual brilliance.

The Catalans took control shortly after, with Robert Lewandowski converting a penalty in the 36th minute to give Barça the lead. Raphinha then doubled the advantage just three minutes later, making it 3-1. Alejandro Balde added a fourth in the 10th minute of added time, further distancing Barça from their rivals before the halftime break.

The second half saw Raphinha complete his brace, scoring a brilliant goal in the 48th minute after racing past the offside trap and weaving past Aurélien Tchouaméni before calmly finishing past Thibaut Courtois.

Real Madrid did pull one back through Rodrygo, who converted a penalty in the 60th minute after Wojciech Szczęsny was sent off. However, the Madrid comeback never materialized, and Barcelona's dominance remained unchallenged.

The win further cements Barcelona’s place in Supercopa history, extending their record haul of titles to an impressive 15.
